It was Graduation Day in uni today. The sight of doting moms and dads, adorable grandpas and grandmas, proud brothers and sisters and excited friends made me long for the day. The day when my parents will come over to watch me get up on stage, holding in my hands the outcome of years of education that they've worked so hard to pay for. The day when my two brothers will finally see that their little sister just isn't so little anymore. The day when dependency ends, and independence; inevitable.

Should I be excited that my uni life is almost coming to an end?
